This project in Nepal works with the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) to help educate local communities on the value of the plants growing in the forests. These plants produce essential oils and offer at alternative income to timber, preventing deforestation and preserving the biodiversity of the area.

The wintergreen leaves are collected by local women, they carry baskets on their backs and can collect up to 50kg of leaves at a time, walking up and down the mountian with this on their back.
